P10 DRAMA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY
The Drama Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) has a strong track record in designing and implementing projects, establishing itself as a highly dynamic partner in EU-funded initiatives.
With extensive experience managing projects across various EU programmes (such as ENI and Interreg), DCCI possesses deep knowledge of the requirements and best practices essential for successful project delivery.
Aligned with the project's goals, DCCI is committed to supporting, training, and transferring vital technological innovation and expertise to local SMEs. Acting as a consulting agency, the Chamber actively promotes the Drama region, supports business growth and investment, and offers tailored assistance to empower the area's dynamic SMEs. Through this project, DCCI will provide high-quality consulting and training services to help SMEs enhance their offerings and successfully market their products.
A key asset is Lab 40, established and operated by DCCI within the Urban Sustainable
Development programme of the Municipality of Drama.
Lab 40 functions both as a Business Accelerator, supporting product innovation and growth for startups, established, and differentiated businesses, and as a modern Business Incubator providing entrepreneurial co-working spaces.
This vibrant hub is integral to the project's training and stakeholder engagement activities, offering SMEs expert mentoring to upgrade their services and capabilities.
Additionally, DCCI manages a Commerce and E-Commerce Centre that delivers vital support to the local business community by providing office space and connecting members through a cost-effective information-sharing network. Under the Integrated Territorial Investment Programme, Lab 40 offers workspace, free training, and expert seminars, particularly benefiting SMEs in the agro-food sector. The Chamber also commissions targeted studies to bolster regional industry and entrepreneurship, including feasibility assessments for a tourism cluster designed to foster cooperation among local service providers.
To address labor market challenges, DCCI emphasizes vocational training and specialization through certified programs tailored to the needs of local businesses. It also organises specialised seminars on topics such as modern sales techniques and health and safety, engaging over fifty entrepreneurs from the region. Furthermore, the Chamber leads a forward-looking economic development initiative that analyzes regional trends to guide Drama's growth and prosperity well into the 21st century.
