P7 FTCM - FUNDACIO TECNOCAMPUS MATARO-MARESME

The TecnoCampus Foundation is a non-profit organisation created to manage the science and innovation park TecnoCampus and the TecnoCampus University Center, belonging to Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), which comprises 4 departments: Technology, Cultural Industry, Business and Social Sciences and Health. 

The mission of TecnoCampus is to become a territorial element in supporting the generation of wealth and economic growth, managing under a single strategy: three universities, a business park with more than 120 innovative companies and a business incubator. Also Tecnocampus hosts remarkable institutions (Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, business associations as FAGEM, GENTIC or PIMEC). This enables synergies in the field of entrepreneurship and joint projects. The park has also a Congress Centre with capacity to organise acts of up to 400 people. The added value of TecnoCampus lies in the synergies established between government, university, citizens and industry, working a quadruple helix model.
