▪ Facilitate and strengthen cooperation between the research sector and the VET (Vocational Education and Training) sector, contributing to the creation and
promotion of innovation Units
▪ Strengthen and promote entrepreneurial culture, skills, and initiatives at sectoral, national, and international levels
▪ Increase the attractiveness of Initial Vocational Training (IVET)

Task No: T6.1

One of the core elements measuring the added value of the developed excellence training system is its networking capability. This capability fosters collaboration and co-design, centering on businesses and their needs for skills and competitiveness. Therefore, it's essential to ensure active participation from businesses and to build local/regional skillbased ecosystems. These ecosystems must be open to the broader external environment in which they operate, with businesses and training organizations sharing development goals, resources, means, and know-how. They will cooperate to achieve these goals by creating new projects, activities, networks, and services. Key Activities Within Each Territorial Training Unit In this light, the following activities are planned within each territorial training unit of excellence: Organization of Workshops for exchanging knowledge, experiences, and best practices between businesses and the training sector (3 workshops per E.U.Re-COVE territorial Unit involving 30 companies each). Organization of Multidisciplinary and Intersectoral LABs for collaboration and codesign. These labs will focus on updating study programs, specialization courses, and internship pathways (3 LABs per E.U.Re-COVE territorial Unit, involving 30 companies each). Development of Micro-Courses aimed at strengthening the competitive value of SMEs and supporting entrepreneurial development. These courses will cover both transversal skills (soft skills, problem-solving, coaching, team building, etc.) and sectoral topics (inclusion, environmental impact, digitalization, and active citizenship in Urban Regeneration) (development of 5 micro-MOOCs). Organization of Collaborative Meetings with public employment services and civil society. These meetings will aim to guide and improve the skills of unemployed and inactive individuals and to encourage adherence to the Skills Pact in the Urban Regeneration sector. Establishment and Launch of Business Services, including: Mentoring Entrepreneurial assistance and support desks Fund research and financing opportunities Specialized consulting services Skills needs assessment Technical assistance Internationalization and networking services Mix-and-match support for apprenticeships and internships Provision and exchange of human resources, equipment, tools, materials, rental services, etc.

Each E.U.RE.COVE territorial Unit will establish, equip, and launch an Innovation Lab. This will be a dedicated space where entrepreneurs and researchers collaborate, involving learners and VET staff, to develop, experiment with, and test applied research projects in urban regeneration. These projects are expected to have significant social, cultural, environmental, and economic impact. For the start-up phase, we anticipate having one Innovation Lab per E.U-Re-COVE territorial Unit, with 10 participating companies per lab. Innovation Lab Activities and Support for Businesses Innovation Lab activities will include field tests and simulations, identifying areas for regeneration. This will involve local institutions, and the collaboration of learners and VET staff, along with the engagement of opinion leaders from the involved local areas. Participating companies will receive support throughout their research and development journey through specific services such as: Information dissemination Engagement initiatives Assistance with testing and patenting procedures Market analysis High-value specialized consulting Training Additionally, we'll provide team building support and administrative consulting for any agreements needing to be made with universities, technopoles, and research spinoffs for the use of human and material resources. Participating entrepreneurs will also benefit from all products and services within the excellence training system. They'll have a dedicated section for sharing and disseminating innovative projects and new knowledge, along with virtual spaces for interactive collaboration and cooperation through the system's platform. All necessary dissemination and communication services will be guaranteed to participating companies. These services will aim to identify and involve external national and international supporters and funders and provide essential support for the signing of any grant agreements.

Entrepreneurial culture is at the heart of the proposed excellence training system, serving as both a transversal and methodological objective. To this end, dedicated physical and virtual spaces, training programs, networking activities, and high-value specialized consulting services will be provided for business creation and development. Specifically, the following initiatives are planned: Innovative Transversal Training Programs: These programs will focus on building new forms of entrepreneurship within Social Urban Regeneration and strengthening the culture of social entrepreneurship in the effective, efficient, and sustainable management of urban spaces. Participants can include teachers, managers, trainers, young entrepreneurs, and learners. Training will take place in designated physical spaces and through a digital platform. The training will be peer-to-peer, guided by specialized coordinators. It will utilize an alternating program of formal and non-formal methodologies (e.g., team building, coaching, role-playing, simulations, cooperative education, outdoor education). The platform will allow for integrating skills with the microMOOCs developed for businesses (see T6.1) and will offer interactive collaboration and codesign functionalities. The programs will also include meetings with successful entrepreneurs and case studies featuring testimonials. Meetings with Urban Community Representatives: These gatherings will facilitate sharing and co-designing new models of community social entrepreneurship and exploring innovative forms of collaboration in managing public goods. Hackathons: In the final part of the entrepreneurship development programs, participants, divided into small groups, will engage in mini competitions. The goal is to develop an actual entrepreneurial project in Urban Regeneration, potentially leveraging generative AI.

In each E.U.RE-COVE Territorial Unit, training organizations and business associations will collaborate continuously to enhance and boost the attractiveness of the excellence training system for new students, learners, researchers, teachers, and businesses. The goal is to create a large container and generator of knowledge in urban regeneration-a space that is open, welcoming, inclusive, innovative, digitized, and sustainable. This will be a generator of skills and high social value entrepreneurship, providing development opportunities and improving the quality of life in the communities it serves, thereby creating regenerative processes of circular subsidiarity. This concept underpins the following activities aimed at strengthening the appeal of the entire COVE system. E.U-RE.COVE Summer Campus Two distinct program tracks will be implemented for the E.U-RE.COVE Summer Campus: one for teachers, trainers, and researchers, and another for potential new learners, specifically young students (both graduating and recently graduated) and young entrepreneurs (up to 35 years old). These two experiences will be repeated for two years in each COVE territorial Unit. Campus organization will be coordinated with high schools, business representatives, universities, and other stakeholders in each involved territorial Unit. These intensive CAMPUSES will each last 10 days and take place both inperson and virtually via a dedicated platform. CAMPUSES will be coordinated by trainers, teachers, and researchers from each territorial E.U-RE-COVE educational system. Selected businesses will also participate in the development of the CAMPUS's educational and outreach program. The specific objective of the CAMPUSES is to strengthen the competitiveness and attractiveness of the COVE system within the existing professional training landscape. The primary methodologies will involve direct communication and information, along with non-formal training. Potential and future learners will have the opportunity to become protagonists of E.U-RECOVE. They will immerse themselves in an emotionally engaging experience where they can both understand and appreciate the value and potential of the proposed training, and gain access to the fundamental skills needed to enter the system through selection. Non-formal and recreational aspects will alternate with moments of knowledge exchange, discussion, and peer-to-peer participation. Emphasis will be placed on learning-by-doing and cooperative education within thematic laboratory pathways based on participants' needs. During activities, participants may also be involved in focus groups on improving the system based on their requirements. There will also be opportunities for dialogue, discussion, and in-depth exploration with COVE territorial Units from other involved countries. Furthermore, fieldwork experience will be central to the program, taking place in regenerated or to-beregenerated areas selected as case studies. Promotional Campaign: "E.U-RE.COVE - KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE!" The promotional campaign for registrations, managed directly by the Steering Committee of each territorial Unit, will coincide with a broader effort to disseminate information and engage intermediaries, opinion leaders, and stakeholders. This involves launching and developing the "E.U-RE.COVE - KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE!" Campaign in educational institutions and with representatives from businesses, chambers of commerce, institutions, and agencies for guidance and job placement. The information campaign includes organizing Info-days, contests and hackathons, meetings, interviews, and help desks, social network challenges, interventions and video messages from testimonials and influencers, gamification actions via the platform, and other orientation activities agreed upon with the school system and other involved parties.
